Draught at Q-brick in Osaka. North German hop aroma. Not outstanding, but ok. Piny, grassy, citrus hops in the mouth, along with a light biscuit and bread malt. Good bitter finish. Clean and very drinkable.6/3/7/3/14=3.3 Fresh can bought in Cologne. Dry, hoppy nose, not big hops, but crisp crackery malt and herbal, spicy hops. Brilliantly clear golden with a tall, rocky head. Crisp, dry, bitter, spicy. Very clean and crisp, with bracing hop bitterness. There is just the right amount of bready malt to balance. Love this, really. It is simple and not full of flavor, but it works so well. Just a great drinking beer when fresh. 7/3/7/4/15=3.6

Bottle, ABV 2.7%, at RBNAG 2009 in VatlandsvΓ₯g. Golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate grainy aroma. The flavour has distinct German hops, but the mouthfeel is too thin.

Courtesy of jdubFL. Pours almost colorless with a faint hue of gold and white head. The aroma has a nice spice hop pulse followed by grains and floral hops. The taste comes across as fresh and crisp and fairly hop heavy, certainly for the style, with solid bitter notes of spice and floral hops. Those notes are feebly cut by a bit of graininess and an echo of malt. I like this hop forward Pilsener.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt and grassy hops aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Slightly sweet barley malt and grass hops flavor. Have to say I was disappointed - expected this to be much hoppier like regular Jever but was just an average NA.

Bottled. Murky brown colour with ambery notes, mediumsized off-white creamy/foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is mildly burnt malts along with some herbal and grassy notes. Flavour is quite similar, but also has some slight liquorice and wood in it. Finish is semidry.

Bottle at the Pembury Tavern, London on 10th July 2009. Pours pale gold with white head. A strong hempy hop aroma leads to an exquisite hop bite which I love but know other raters refer to it in a less favourable light. A hempy, grassy hop then drives the finish, on a fairly effervescent mouthfeel. A reliable beer, and you know what you’re getting every time with this one.
