Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een troebel geel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het aroma is fris en gist achtig. Het heeft een frisse citrusachtige smaak.

Pale gold with a frothy, white head. Lots of coriander. Moderate banana. Slight tartness the whole way through. Light-bodied, drinkable, not the most interesting.

Bottle. Color: Clear red copper, beige head. Nice color, reminds me of a real Poppy. Aroma: Malty, caramel, hints of banana. Taste: Malty, caramel and banana notes, hints of roasted malt. A little hopbitterness in the background. Moderate sweet. Medium body, average carbonation. Interesting but mediocre dark Tripel.

Bottle. Color: Hazy pale golden, white head. Aroma: Coriander, yeasty, hints of citrus. Taste: Bit watery mix of wheat malt, notes of yeast, lemon, coriander, hints of banana and orange. Overall ok but a bit thin and a bit too much coriander for me personally. Just under medium body, just above average carbonation. Moderate sweet, light bitterness.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Flowery, hints of honey. Taste: Floral, flowery, malty, hints of honey. Lightly sour, sweet and bitter. Yeasty hints. Buttery hints. Unusual taste for a blond. Just under medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice try, but just not my kind of beer. Very nice initiative but our liberators deserve better in my opinion. Hopefully the other two beers of this packet Vier de vrede, proef de vrijheid are more interesting.
