350ml can from Liquor Mountain, Kyoto. Pours dark brown, almost black with a small head. Aroma of earthiness, mild roastiness and syrup. Taste is watery, earthy and slightly roasty with some berries, syrup and toffee notes. Finish is slightly roasty and earthy with some hints of syrup. Decent.

350ml can from Aeon Liquor, Tokyo. Pours orange with a small head. Aroma of caramely malts, pine, grass and citrus. Taste is sweetish and earthy with some hints of soapy grass, pine and citrus. Finish is earthy and grainy with some hints of hops, pine and harsh bitterness. Decent.

Incredibly refreshing. I think someone added this as an Imperial PA by mistake, as the label implies just a simple ale. I don't read Japanes

Crisp golden coloured body with a light white head, about a centimetre or two tall. Aroma of crisp grass and hay with a touch of alcohol and very little else. Light-bodied; Strong metallic and funky malts up front with more of a grassy and hay-like flavour right behind with not much else going on, aside from some light caster sugar sweetness. Light-bodied; Strong grassy and crisp hay flavours without much else, perhaps some grain and water. Aftertaste is very mild throughout, perhaps making this part of it the best - very subdued throughout without and harshness or pungency - very easy drinking and simple for this heat. I sampled this 35 cL can purchased from City’Super in One IFC, at IFC Mall, in Central, Hong Kong [island] on 29-July-2017 for HK$32,00 sampled on the streets of Hong Kong on 30-July-2017.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin white head and a bunch of bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Aroma of crisp malt, alcohol, light earth and a touch of grain, all with some dry flavours and a dose of hay. Light-bodied; Strong grassy flavour at first with a nice fresh crisp malt flavour and little else, along with some mild sugars and a touch of hay -nothing really too strong here, either. Aftertaste shows the grain and alcohol and not much else - mild and bubbly without much else. Overall, a very subdued beer without much flavour at all, but showing some dry malt and grasses and a deep hay flavour. I sampled this 350 mL can purchased from City’Super! at Harbour City, in Kowloon, Hong Kong on 29-July-2017 for HK$19,00 sampled on the streets of Hong Kong on 30-July-2017.
