Very floral, fruity, citrus aroma with banana, apple, and a dash of malt. Pours with a large white head that leaves in about 2 minutes. No lacing. Very sweet tasting Japanese beer, almost as if it had corn in it (which I doubt is the case). Dry palate with lively carbonation. Nothing to seek out.

Can. Clear yellow in color. Toasty malts, and some grassy hops. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a slight hop finish. Body is watery. This is pretty solid for a macro, but nothing too exceptional.

Can. Deep brown with ruby highlites and a fairly thick, creamy tan head with plenty of noticeable carbonation. Toasted caramel malts, molasses, vanilla, grass, dark fruits, and chocolate. The grass throws me off of this otherwise nice aroma. Body is smooth, and a bit thin. Wow, bittersweet. The grass is a non factor in the flavor. Roasted malts, molasses, prunes, vanilla, and some chocolate. Finish is bittersweet malts which last a while. If you like bitter stouts this is for you. Pretty decent brew, but the odd grassy aroma is a downer. Did a side-by-side with Kirin Ichibanshibori Stout and this blows the Kirin out of the water.

Medium white head. Hazy pale yellow body. Acidic mealy citric spicy aroma. Citric mealy sweetish spicy coriander taste. Dryish mild aftertaste. Very, very nice. (0.25l draft.)

Small offwhite head. Slightly hazy amber body. Light tropical fruit aroma. Bitter resiny honey taste with tropical fruit hops notes. Some roastiness. Also some tobacco, as though it’s been aged. Bitter honey aftertaste. Marvellous. (0.25l draft.)

Thin light tan head. Barely translucent deep dark red body, somewhat hazy. Sweet earthy roasty aroma with faint wild berry and paper notes. Dry earthy licorice and wild berry taste with musty notes. Quite strange, but good. (0.25l draft.)

A maltier aroma than many pale lagers; underlying hint of hop. Darker gold than the American products. Head didn’t really develop. Substantial mouthfeel. Almost chewy. The grassy hop comes right out with the malt. There’s a light sweetness at the finish, but the hop still makes its presence known. One of the better pale lagers I’ve had.

Dark amber color, thick off white head. Apples, orange pekoe nose that seems to be a mix of American and English hops. Mouth is well balanced, lightly carbonated, apples, oranges, but not strong hop character. Finish is mildly aggressive, but then becomes dry and malty. Not bad, but kinda plain - much like other beers from these guys. Re-rate. I appreciate the subtles a bit more five years on. STill not great, but not too bad.

Sampled at the O-Town throwdown. Every rating so far has comes out of FL. Pours hazy pink with no head. The tomato comes through in the aroma better than expected as well as light sweetness and some tartness. The flavor seems to have tart berry fruitiness, hints of tomato, light noble hops and some pale malts. Interesting.
