Bottle @ home. Hazy yellow color, full sized fluffy dense and lightly creamy white head. Smell and taste wheat, lightly sweet and I also get a distant hint of smoke. Nice soft yet full mouthfeel. Quite pleasant.

Bread and malt dominate the aroma. Thick head. Banana undertones round out the palate. Taste is good with some bitterness on the back of the tongue. Helles influence is strong.

bottle from Heinrichs 3000 Kornwestheim. Cloudy brownish golden with a fluffy off-white head. Yeasty and wheaty start, fruity hops with some mango and lemon, pleasant carbonation.

Bottle opened and resealed an hour before. Brown with a foamy to frothy light tan crown. Aroma is banana, almond, and light chocolate. Taste seems at odds with the smell—sour more than sweet and with hints of acidity at the finish. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate to mild. Decent but an odd one.

500 ml bottle. Pours unclear chocolate brown, foamy head. Quite citrussy for a dunkeles Weizen: Grapefruit, lime. Floral hoppy notes, minimum banana and clove, a bit malt. Acidic sourness, slightly bitter. Creamy texture, medium bodied, fizzy carbonated, sour finish. Unusual Dunkelweizen but not bad at all.

500ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Sweet-ish, wheaty, fruity, yeasty spicy aroma, notes of banana, baked banana, clove, a touch of pear. Taste is almost dry wheaty, fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, subtle sweetness, notes of banana and clove, diluted hints of banana leaves, a touch of pear and yellow apple; mushy texture, minimally watery passages. Very solid, not too sweet Weizenbock, could be an excellent Hopfenweisse if hopped with more pluck.
