0.5 l bottle from 'Dilo Getränkemarkt', best before March 2024. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy, a little fruity aroma of lots of banana, clove, honey and vanilla. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fairly yeasty-spicy taste of massive clove, banana, vanilla and honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit chalky finish. Medium body, very smooth and quite effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, rather classic Weizen, saturating and fairly pleasant to drink.

Bottle online from The Trembling Madness. Pours a hazy muddy orange colour with a huge thick foamy off white head. Aromas of bananas, pears, cloves, candy floss and some peppery spice. Taste has more of the same notes detected in the aroma with added ripe notes of stoney fruits and a touch of warming alcohol. Full body, low carbonation on the palate and very smooth mouthfeel. This is superb for the style. Up there with the best Weizen Bock i have tried so far. As Arnie says “i will be back!”.

500ml bottle purchased from the Offie, Leicester and drunk at home. Dark gold, pretty cloudy with a quickly dissipating white head. A little touch of fresh bready yeast in the aroma, some banana. Sweet on the tongue with a fleeting touch of hop bitterness. Light body, medium to heavy carbonation. Certainly decent.
