Bottle at the DCBeer May share. Poured a very dark brown, almost black color with a small tan head. Aroma was chocolate, boozy notes. Vanilla, woody barrel, and sweet toffee. Some kind of leafy character.

Sampled from the tap at Tørst. Pours near black with a light brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a nice combination of coconut, vanilla and a hint of tobacco with bitter dark grains backing. Flavor has a great coconut and earthy chocolate with bitter dark grains, fig and vanilla supporting.

Short pour at Side Project. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The nose is maple, bourbon, mellow coffee, cinnamon, and bright caramel. Sweet and sugary, with a bright, easy booziness. Heavy body, syrupy, and thick. Beautiful, barrel-forward, and clean.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Viscous black, no head. Aroma of home made chocolate sauce and bourbon. Sweet with fierce alcohol and full body, mildly viscous mouthfeel. Completely dominated by chocolate and bourbon. No trace of Belgo yeast. Warming finish. Pastry stout, but with some level of elegance.
