Draught at the Cellar, 1/18/25.
Dark, clear. Little/no head.
Rich bourbon, big, mocha-laced maltiness with lots of caramel and light vanilla. Not boozey in the nose.
Rich and malty, lightly syrupy with huge caramel. Bourbon acidity sneaks up on you and explodes on the finish, joined by warming alcohol. A bit punchy and raw as a result. Has some great elements and perhaps it's just too young, but I'm glad I'm a SP member and not a PP member!

Malty, sweetish and caramely with some toffee, prunes, vanilla, bourbon, oak and woody notes, some roastiness and earthiness. Bottle. Pours deep black, small tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is fudge, vanilla, bourbon, treacle. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Just a tad hot. Full body. Excellent as usual.

Bottle shared at CBJ, thanks to Dave, 27/11/24. Black pour topped with a khaki head. Nose is chocolate, dried fruit esters, toffee, mellow barrel strokes. Taste comprises stewed fruits, toffee, bourbon, molasses, fruit cake mix, dates, prunes, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a lick of alcohol. Solid life.
