On tap at Vultures Lane. Pours hazy gold orange. Sage, real herbal aroma, capsicum, peach, lactose, orange peel. Medium body, perhaps a touch over carbonated and without the softness I expect from the style. Not great.

Bottle @ Taptap tasting, thanks FatPhil. Clear golden pour, white foam. Caramel nose, grainy and some glazed sugar coated fruits. Sweetish as you can probably tell by now from my first descriptors. Taste has also that sweetness, hops feel bit faded although I don't think this beer is old. Medium bitterness. Somewhat unclear and messy finish. OK.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, roasted coffee beans, Kahlúa, hints of vanilla, dark chocolate, roasted hazelnut, biscuit. Taste is moderately bitter, roasty dark malty, notes of coffee, burnt coffee, some liquorice, lingering, bitter finish. Slightly too light body cannot fully compensate for the bitterness to reach perfect balance.
