500ml bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge amount of chunky sediment. Sweet apricot syrup, peach, little boozy heat, some pepperiness too, quite a bit of clove and banana and that synthetic grape bubblegum type thing. Nothing particularly complex, just a lovely clean fruited Belgian ale. Good stuff, bar the sediment.

Bottled 14.8.2015. Black beer with huge, mid brown cloudy and stable head. Aroma is strong. It has licorice, milk coffee, chocolate, dried fruits and hints of alcohol. Taste has licorice, malts, dry and bitter coffee. Full body.

Tap at Beer Geek. Hops centered, very easy drinking, also very tasty. Moderate bitterness, moderate sweetness and crystal mLtiness. Very good though.

Tap at Beer Geek. Classic American style APA. Moderate caramel, yet thin perceived body, moderate bitterness, lots of fruity resiny hoppy goodness. Tasty, refreshing - good, but not great.

Bottle at home. A spicy flavour in the mouth with a subtle bite of sourness. This woke up the palate and got me ready for the rest of the evening. A good beer to enjoy, but not in any way memorable.

Bottle at home. A darker than expected colour in the glass that was followed by a rich taste of hops and a level of malt to balance the flavour. Not one to stick in the mind, but very pleasant.

Bottle at home. A nice pour and it looked inviting in the glass. There wasn't much nose and the flavour was of subdued hops and some nice balancing malt. There was subtlety here and a pleasant mouthfeel. All very pleasant.

Bottle at The Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, some lactose, light molasses. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich oily, roasty sweet malt, warm alcohol palate and an oily mouthfeel. Full to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from the Gear Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a dark hazelnut brown colour with a frothy light tan head. The aroma is big caramel malt, nutty, woody hop bitter. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a smooth rich, sweet malt, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a hazy straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is gluey malt, dry yeast, light citrus fruit, alcohol bitter. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a smooth, warm, rich malt, fruity light spice alcohol bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The alcohol really dominates this beer which is really surprising at just 8.5% ABV.
