Light amber, white head that fades but leaves some lacing. Caramel malt, citrus and resin hops. Fruity sweetness, grapefruit sourness, bitter finish. Medium bodied, fairly low alcohol for the style. Plain, but nice and well-balanced. Perhaps a bit much grapefruit. [3.5] Tempora mutantur (et nos hoc nunc hebetes).

Gold, just slightly hazy. A finger or so of bright white head. Some bread and lots of floral hops on the nose. Slightly earthy. Creamy mouthfeel. Restrained malts, lots of citrus. Finish is a little short - it’s bitter, but insubstantial. Fresh and lovely. [3.7]Bottle. Very pale gold with a very white head that lasts pretty well. Floral, light bread, bright lemon. Light-bodied, fairly high carbonation. Light bready malt, firm bitterness with lemons and some pepper. Well inside the fine Kiwi lager camp.

Bottle. Pale orange, white head that faded to pretty much nothing. Nose has oranges, some dough, citrus, cloves and some dank. Nice yeasty-grapefruit zest mouthfeel. Bit thin on the malts.

Vibrant gold pour with a large but quickly fading head that leaves lot of lacing.Lots of grassy saaz in the aroma, with spicy and subtle sweet floral, grape and passionfruit notes.Classic pilsener taste with light bready and grainy malt. Not much hops flavour, but a full-on metallic bitterness hits you in the face.Light body, moderately high carbonation - good for the style.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours hazy orange with a diminished white head. Mild citrusy hops aroma, vague malt presence. Sweet and citric bitter hops flavoured with a mild caramel malt base. Smooth. Light carbonation. Bitter and fruity finish. Clearly a subdued malt base.

Bottle, 5.0%. Slightly spicy hop aroma, some caramel, slightly rough. Hazy grey amber colour. The flavour is less interesting than the aroma. Has a little caramel and perhaps a faint hint of spicy hops, but is a tad boring.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet and very roasted combined with notes of pumpernickel bread as well as hints of brewmash. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel and toffee as well as a light notes of metal from the alcohol, leading to a dry bitter and slightly roasted finish. Thanks Papsoe for hauling this home from NZ.
