Bottle at Q-Brick. Crisp pilsner malt aroma with crackers, grass, light citrus. Clean, with a slight yeasty edge. Slightly cloudy golden color with a fall, fluffy head. Flavor somewhat sweet with honey and biscuits, minerals and grass. Nicely bitter towards the finish. Soft and mellow but with some prickly carbonation. Nice Belgian blonde.

Bottle. Clear copper with a large off white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, light caramel, nectarine, a little cleaning fluid. Taste is only slightly sweet with more fruit than caramel before piney bitterness. Aromatic bitter finish is not dry. There’s not a riot of flavours here - just a few good ones speaking out in ringing tones.

Bottle as Tuatara Golden Ale from Star Grocery in Berkeley, CA. AVB matches, and the label refers to this as Ardennes-style. Pours hazy dark gold with a 3 finger foamy near white head. Aroma is yeast, citrus and a dark herby note. Med body. Flavor is yeast/spice and something like old fashioned linoleum paste. The flavor is quite strong and very herby, with a good dose of peppery something. Net result is it starts a bit sweet and goes through an unusal flavor profile to end bitter. Unique. Or nearly so.

Pours pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes leaving spot lacing. Skunky bread and resin aromas. Crisp sweet skunkwater with a lasting bitter Nelson finish. This just appeared on the East coast and it’s skunked, so perhaps the abv is a little low for a journey across the world...perhaps they make and ipa???

Poursw hazy amber with a superb, ever-growing head fed by lively streams of carbonation. The aroma really showcases the noble hops with extremely spicy, green floral characters. The malt is also quite prominent with nice cookie-dough notes.Similar story with the flavours, those spicy hops are really quite potent. Not so impressed with the character they give in the finish, it’s quite sharp. The sweet cookie-dough-like malt does a great job of countering it anyway.Carbonation is quite prickly, over the top.
