Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of saxo. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a white head. Sweet malty nose with a whiff of flowery hops. Medium body, sweet malts with some metallic notes. Very subdued hoppiness. The metal is quite offputting. 160411

Bottle. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, white head. Bubble gum and banana on the nose, some pale malts and lemon. The flavor is pretty much the same, with some bitterness. Quite metallic towards the end. Medium body, effervescent. A rather mediocre hefeweizen that doesn’t impress in any way, but it competes easily with a few of the German ones. 110416

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours hazy gold with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma is pretty much noble hop, but there’s a touch of citrus. Medium body. Flavor is ? It’s not exactly bready, it’s pretty floral/grassy. It’s slightly sweet, but the noble bitter renders that into the ground. Then it lets go wtih floral. And it is dry. This stuff drinks like ale. Move over Czechs!

Bottled. A hazy straw yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of bananas and cloves, as well as a bit of soap. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, cloves, and bananas - leaning on being over ripe, leading to a dry wheaty finish where a light note of lemon comes along.

Bottle at Q-Brick. Crisp pilsner malt aroma with crackers, grass, light citrus. Clean, with a slight yeasty edge. Slightly cloudy golden color with a fall, fluffy head. Flavor somewhat sweet with honey and biscuits, minerals and grass. Nicely bitter towards the finish. Soft and mellow but with some prickly carbonation. Nice Belgian blonde.
