Bottle (shared by fatphil). Street tick. Aroma has some citrusy hops and malts. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, citrus. Feels very bland and rather old. Overall: drinkable.

Bottle, 10C. Brown with a loose inch of beige head. Aroma of oranges and mocha. Really quite thin, medium high carbonation. No grunt or depth to the malt flavours at all, just toppy mocha. The orange is not as clear in as it was in the aroma, making the bitter finish a bit dull.

500ml bottle at home bought at Beer Republic. No obvious BB date. almost black color, rather big coffee-colored head. smells earthy, grassy, licorice, light chocolate, bit soapy, some pines, rather lovely smell. full body, light carbonation, soft mouthfeel. tastes ash, bitter herbal, bit citric, bit old hoppy, dusty, some charcoal. finishes lightly bitter with notes of licorice, old hops and some charcoal. hmm, smell was quite nice, but taste has some problems, first, too light carbonation, which makes the beer unpleasant and boring to drink, then too much on the bitter charcoal / ashy side lacks some balance. Might be an issue with freshness, but since there is no BB date ... how should I know..

On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Pours gold with a little head. Kaffir lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit. Strong citrus dominates, and I’ve no problem with that. Not bad.
