Bottle. Pours slightly hazy straw with profuse, stable white head. Clear aroma of NZ hops, with fruity rouches, and hints of malt and yeast. Bitter, hoppy flavour with floral and grassy notes and touches of fruit. Hints of malt and yeast. Mildly acidic afteraste with estery hints. Refreshing and decent.

Bottle, 5.8%. Mild soft fruit aroma, mango or something. Almost clear light golden colour. Very big off-white head. The flavour is a lot like the aroma, soft fruit, perhaps mango. A bit spicy. Good mouthfeel. Medium bitterness, perhaps a little above average. Well-balanced.

On tap at Smiths. Super savoury aroma. Almost a honey soy glaze type thing going on. Flavour marries that with more sweet caramel. Whole thing reminds me of a sweet teriyaki marinade and I don’t know if I like it. I don’t think I do.

On tap at Smiths. Peach, orange, caramel, pine. Fairly typical APA, hard to get excited about but hard to fault at the same time.

(Bottle) Pours slightly hazy golden amber with small beige head. Lovely aroma of pine and citrus with biscuity hints. Light bodied and well carbonated. After a refreshing citrus foretaste, hops take over. They are the dominant flavour straight through to the finish. Whilst they dominate, they do not overwhelm; it’s nicely balanced with some biscuity malt notes. The finish has some very pleasant bitterness. Excellent APA.

Aroma has tropical fruits and pineapple juice. Flavour has pineapple juice, tropical fruits, some sweetish malt and mild mineral tones. Quite close to Punk IPA.
