(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 22/05/17, from Alko Arkadia, 20161123) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had black currant leaves, fruitiness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, black currant leaves, exotic fruits, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A good fruity and spicy pale ale.

500ml bottle. Pours very dark. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, maybe a little sweet sherry character, vanilla, even a little creamy. Honestly smells like a glorious tiramisu. Flavour is very chocolatey, lots of coffee, plenty of sweet vanilla, a little of that sweet sherry type taste. Little alcohol bitterness. Little thin bodied. Very nice.

500ml bottle. Slightly milky, amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of mint. Taste is crisp bitter hoppy, hints of mint, malty basis with hints of toffee; refreshing, prickling, lively carbonation. Fresh and refreshing, but quite simple and monotonous.

330ml bottle. Pours cloudy with a small white head. Aroma is a little fruit, maybe some peach and banana notes, but it’s overpowered by funky sweaty bread. Flavour is much better, with a nice peach, wheat and hay start leading into a sweet banana finish. I could quite comfortably sit back and drink a 6 pack on a hot afternoon, but it’s not the most exciting of beers.
