500ml bottle. Pours pitch black with plenty of fluffy tan head. Aroma is spicy, coffee, it’s a black rye for sure. Flavour is coffee, spice, port, smoke, little pine. There’s not much hoppiness, but who cares when it tastes this good. Gorgeous, if not truly in style.

500ml bottle. Pours brass colour with a thick fluffy head. Aroma is lots of grass, pine and perhaps a little citrus. Taste is grass, spice, pine and a little funkiness. It’s not particularly well balanced or anything fancy like that, but it’s pretty damn tasty.

330ml bottle into glass. Golden amber beer with towering white head. High carbonation. Nose of doughnuts, fruity hops and pepper. Easy-drinking, earthy, juicy-fruit taste. Finish has balancing bitterness followed by more subtle fruits. Great beer.

Big offwhite head. Clear still coppery body. Resiny tropical fruit and sugar-bread aroma with pineapple notes. Dryish resiny spicy pineapple taste with fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish resiny sugar-bread aftertaste with pineapple and oranges notes. Nice, drinkable, fresh. (0.33l bottle, from ... I’m not sure.)
