Pours amber with a large lasting head.Nose shows lychee, peach, floral hops, light clean malt, grapes and pear. Very vibrant.Flavours show less of the fruit but more spicy, grassy and herbal notes alongside some delicate malt.

Bottle. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma of bread crusts, grapefruit, pine, kumquat. Bittersweet with caramelised malty flavours under citrus and a little pine. Bitter and a little peppery at the end. Nothing about it really says New Zealand. Not particularly complex, just a thumping good beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks Tom L. Slightly hazy golden. Aroma of citric hops, a bit stale. Sweetish flavor with malt, citric hops, slightly stale, and decent bitterness. Medium-bodied. Could be fresher but still alright.
