Les Intenables is not just a brasserie – it is a place of conviviality where creativity and friendship mingle in every sip. Founded by a close-knit group of friends sharing a passion for artisanal know-how and a refreshing lack of seriousness, our microbrewery is a place where good beer and shared moments are in the spotlight.

Tap at Winter Affair 2025. Blackish body, off-white head. Smokey aroma, light notes of chocolate maltiness. Dusty black malt taste, chocolate, ashy, smoky, clean, nicely lean. Good stuff!

Black with a frothy, light brown head. Aroma promises tonka bean, honey and fudge. Taste is moderate sweet with mild, burnt bitter undertones. Lingering tonka bean. Full bodied, mild carbonation. Very nice balance—its a dessert beer and sweet, but it’s a honey sweetness and never cloying or artificial. Good one.

Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: pumpkin spices, roasted pumpkin, some cinnamon, good roast, alcohol, coffee, cocoa powder, cinnamon. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: sweet start, lots of chilli, caramel, milk chocolate, some alcohol, spicy touch. Aftertaste: quite the chilli burn, sugary, caramel, muscovado sugar, molasses, some maple syrup, cinnamon, some chocolate, more pumpkin spices, nice one!

440ml can from Le Chais, Hazebrouck. Pours a hazed yellow, moderate white head. Strong nose of overripe NZ hop exotics. Nicely sweet, pineapple pulp, lychee juice and sweet citrus fruits with a full body, light bitter close. Quite satisfying.

Tap. La Capsule, Lille. Lightly hazed medium gold. Fine white head stays the course. Nose is odd, frankly. Very woody. Some diesel. Some sour grain. Taste fares better. A little sweet first up with a light tang and some bitterness. Bit flabby though. Tang on the finish. Hard work tbh.
