Bottle at ChrisO Snow tasting, thanks to (sorry forgotten), 20/01/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head that seeks edgedom. Nose carries dark malt, light farts, bitter chocolate, mineral tones. Taste follows, some hop presence, light soapyness, chocolate. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light roastyness in the finish.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Pitch black with an off-white head. Aroma with roasted malts, chocolate, citrus fruits and a fruity note. Lightly sweet taste. Light body, thin feel, soft carbonation. Finishes lightly bitter with roasted malts, a hint of citrus and cocoa. Promising aroma, disappointing palate.

Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting. It pours very dark brown with a small light tan head. The nose is roasted malt, caramel, light coffee, vanilla, rye bread and earth. The taste is soft dark fruit, roasted malt, toast, faint tartness and lemon with a dry finish. Thin-medium body and light carbonation. Ok, but a bit light in body.

75 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is fruity and roasted malty. Dark roasted malty, citrusy and fruity. Light bitter, citrusy and hard roasted malty. Bitter and dark roasted malty finish.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, berries, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, wood, lemons, hops, straw, and roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish. The body is light.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a cloudy black with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing beige head. Oddly skewed and unclean aroma with a thin citrusy whiff. Thin-bodied, roasty and ashy with some chocolate accents. Ends....bland. Poor. 250113

Clear dark, black colour, red hue, no head. Aroma of boozy grappa, lots of alcohol, overpowering the stout characteristics. Light chocolate. Sweet alcoholic flavour, grappa, malts, light liquorice. Finish grappa.

Bottle at Chriso tasting 20/01/2013. Dark brown / ruby colour. Beige head.Easrthy soft roast aroma, english esters. A little farmyard chalky, thin palete. Little green apple finish. Lacks the body of a stout.

Bottle courtesy of Seabass, thanks! Very dark brown color, small tan edge head. Aroma of boozy chocolate. Taste is boozy coffee. Second tasting courtesy of Chris, merci bien! Much less boozy, more like a peppery coffee stout. Not bad.
