Description
We first started Carnival in a kitchen in Liverpool after a fundraising event at the Clearview Carnival, 2017. It is where we met and started the journey of Carnival Brewing Company over a love of music and beer. Now here we are, developing our very own fundraiser for the future endeavours of Carnival.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Aromas of creamy chocolate, orange and dried mint. Taste is chocolate, caramel, orange. Vinous, and strangely thin, maybe that's the high abv?

75cl bottle from Hoptimism. Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Creamy tan to fawn head. Nose - creamy chocolate, orange and weirdly I get a mint note. Taste - chocolate, caramel and orange liqueur. Palate - creamy and medium bodied. Decent linger. Overall - good but no way does this taste nearly 15%.

Can from Hoptimism. Appearance - deep cherry pink. Pinkish white head that's nicely proportioned. Nose - definitely blueberry, almost blackberry. Also a maple/syrup back note. Just a hint of sour too. Taste - richness of maple syrup, berries and still a cleansing lightly sour finish. Palate - light bodied, sweetish through the middle, dry balanced finish. Overall - very nice.

440ml can direct from the brewery. Hazy golden yellow appearance, sparse receding white froth atop. Creamy tropics on the nose, continuing to taste with additional pithy citrus, gently hazy textures. Ok overall.

440ml Can direct from the brewery. Dark appearance, mild haze, tan head. Aroma presents some nutty amber malt, cola. Mild CDA flavours overall, subtle liquorice, more roast would be welcome and a bigger hop presence. Fine overall. Thee Oh Sees are such a great band, you all need a little in your life.

440ml can from the brewery, drunk whilst cooking thai chicken. Aroma of light coffee with perhaps a little vanilla sweetness. Pistachio and coffee work nicely together, lovely creamy oat presence. Lactose hints though none was seemingly used. Interesting. Works well.
