Can from LCB, consumed 8 months before BBE. Pours a clear amber with off white head. Aroma of wet grass, light citrus, pine, malt. Its quite bitter, grassy and malt driven but with some floral and kumquat noted flavoured hops. Medium bodied, semi-drying. Its ok.

500ml bottle. Pours a near clear gold with thin white head. A citric, earthy and light perfumed soap aroma. Quite a punchy bitter session pale with malt, toffee, wood, orange, grapefruit, resin, soap. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi-drying with light sticky mouthfeel. It's ok.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Black with small beige top. Roast, chocolate, hint of fruit, slightly dusty on the nose. Taste is quite roasty with chocolate, coffee, hint of caramel, a light wheat tang but not particularly fruity. Fairly light bodied to begin but by the end of each sip there is a slight creamy texture with the help of oats. Its quite good.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear light amber with small off-white head. Slightly dulled malty aroma but notes of banana, caramel and light hops. Taste of caramel, fruit cake, banana, orange zest, a building sweetness but has a good bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied but slick, average carbonation. Lacks some depth for the style and strength but I rather liked the simplicity. What there is was tasty and it went down well.
