Bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering, fonefan. Small head with short duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are honey, flowers, lavender and has a sweet flowery finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Clear yellow without head. Aroma is sweet, honey, wood and perfume. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish. Oily. The perfume sort of kills it. 200816

Sample @ [ Nordic Brew Festival 2014 ] @ ARENA NORD, Rimmens Alle 37, 9900 Frederikshavn, Denmark. [ As Mjødladen Chili Mead ].Clear light to medium red yellow - pink color with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, sweet honey, light fruity, light fruity syrup. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, honey sweet, chili warm, long long chili burn finish. Body is medium, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish is alcoholic and chili burn. [20141101]

Bottled@fonefan. Red colour, not much head. Aroma is raisins, some alcohol, honey and mild berries. Flavour is fruity, honey, some berries as well as some spiciness to it. Balanced.

Bottled@fonefan. Yellowish golden colour, no head. Aroma is sweet honey, some nectar, mild earth and some wooden notes. Flavour is mainly nectary and honeyish sweet.
