Quelques agrumes ressortent de l’olfactif avec des notes de pamplemousse, de citron et s’accompagnent d’une bonne quantité de conifères sur une base maltée légèrement caramélisée. Énorme mousse rocailleuse qui s’éternise sur le liquide doré légèrement voilé et fortement effervescent. Très piquante en bouche avec une carbonatation puissante, elle développe un environnement gustatif effectivement forestier avec des notes de conifères envahissantes, des accents poivrés, des pousses de sapin, du pin et de l’épinette. La base maltée très subtilement caramélisée est ressentie en début de bouche mais est rapidement dépassée par cette amertume de conifères qui laissent une trainée verdâtre en arrière-bouche, persistante jusqu’à friser une légère astringence en finale. Le corps est moyennement léger avec une carbonatation presque excessive. Cette bière est effectivement destinée aux coureurs des bois et autres amants de la nature qui apprécient le bon sapinage et les saveurs de conifères. Intéressante et appréciée. Draft: Poured a clear amber color ale with a medium size foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of fruity Brett notes with some herbal boreal notes is quite unique. Taste is also a mix of fruity Brett notes with some herbal boreal notes with light caramel malt notes also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Nice level of complexity and uniqueness with the inclusion of the boreal herbs.

Can: Poured clear golden color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hops notes with some bitter notes. Taste is also a mix of citrusy notes with some bitter notes and a dry finish. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. A bit too dry and bitter to be sessionable.

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of wheat malt with some light spice notes and phenolic ester. Taste is also a nice mix of wheat malt with light spices and phenolic ester notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Well brewed wit with right mix of drinkability and additional complexity from the yeast strain.

Can: Poured a pale yellow color lager with a white color medium size foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of dry hoppy resinous notes is pretty dominant. Taste is also dominated by dry hoppy resinous notes with light cereal notes with a medium bitter aftertaste. Body is light with good carbonation. Dryer than I was expecting but enjoyable IPL.
