Draught @ 4:20, Rome as "Revelation Cat Brunello Lambic." Aroma has strong earthy notes and grapefruit. Also mild lactic tones. Flavour is tart with grapefruit, earthy notes, mild lactic notes and citrus. Quite close to some Belgian ones, could be less lactic though.

Draught @ 4:20. Aroma is sweet, fruity and hoppy with caramel and toffee candy. Flavour has resiny malt, tropical fruits, alcohol and toffee. Heavy, sweet and resiny - a barley wine as it should be. There?s a slight gluey tone that disturbs me a bit though. Also alcohol starts to come through after some sips. More American BW than the most of the America BWs itself. Massive, drinkability is not that great due to the overwhelming everything.

Draught (6%) Brasserie 4:20. Aroma has sour grapefruit and earthy tones. Also citrus. Feels like Cantillon. Flavour is really acidic with white wine, lactic tones and grapefruit. Flat palate, no CO2. Finishes milky. Aggressive enough but too much lactic tones here.

Bottle shared at chriso’s post-GBBF shindig 2014 - London. Pours soupy amber with a frothy white head. Some heavy malts in this one, with notes of caramel, ripe citrus, some woody booze. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with sticky sugars, ripe fruits, dates, bread. Heavy hitting stuff.

On tap at 4:20 pub, Rome-Italy. Pour dark brown, reflexes in the glass with a small off white head. Nose: terrific. Strawberries, mint, stable. Mouth: tart, cherries, wood and red macerated fruits. Lovely sour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours cloudy nearly black with airy dark tan head. Dark aroma of coffee, roasted malt, chcocolate and liquorice. Sweetish flavour of chocolate, coffee with milk, yeast and caramel malt, with roasty notes and touches of liquorice. Lingering, sweetish and roasty aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Good. My rating #3700.

330ml bottle, 5.5 & abv, thanks to Skinnyviking. Pale amber coloured body, next to clear. Patches at the surface. Toffee nose, with citric hints. Malt-fruity taste of toffee, hebs, and orange. Bittersweet fruity ending. Fresh and uncomplicated (shared at Finn’s place in Tromsø, 11.03.2015).
