330ml bottle bought at Vikapolet in Oslo quite a while ago. Fawn-coloured head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Cloudy, dark reddish body colour. Mid sweet aromas of dark honey, herbal hops and dough. Taste of caramel, yeast, and dark fruits leading to a bittersweet ending with warming alcohol. Full bodied. Comprehensive and tasty, a tad too sweet though (shared with Skinnyviking and Finn, Tromsø 14.01.2015).

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet Vika. Patchy beige layer covering a hazy, apricot coloured body. Heavy hopped aroma, dried fruity. Taste of peach, grapefruits, pine and bittersweet dried fruits to the ending. Citrus peels as well. Full bodied. Soft in the mouth. Rather heavy to drink (shared with Skinnyviking and Finn, Tromsø 14.01.2015).

8% this pours a reddish brown with a filmy long lasting head. The nose is a rich fudge caramel syrup. Effervescent medium-light body. It has a solid flavor of nuts, caramel, liquid smoke a bit metallic. Bready caramel in the aftertaste - solid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

THANKS! to Mathieu87 & PriorL. Hazy golden. Nose is sweet wood, lots of it, horse blanket, wine & faint walnuts / oxidation. Flat & bit watery but otherwise excellent. Oak, nuts, Sauternes, vinous, lots of oak, dry, light vanilla, bitter hay in the back. Barnyard. Light sourness. Pretty rich & interesting. Good stuff.

No head, ochre-golden beer. Very grapey, even vinous nose, old wine, old barrels, barnyard, horseblanket, bit nutty. Winey, vinous, even Sauternes-like! Absolutely stunning taste. Blossoms, honey, lactic acid, and balanced! Quite slick (certainly for a lambic), flat as a pancake. Very special bottling - normally on draught only, which would have been better for the carbonation, I’m told. The taste is divine.

Faster ’11 a dark sour ale which pours a mahogany brown with ruby highlights. The nose is tangy coffee & caramel. It has a tingly effervescent carbonation that made me blink twice with a delicious Nutella hazelnut chocolate character some oakey wine barrel notes and a dry sour finish really nice stuff. In terms of taste easily as good as Brunello though quite different.

Stronger ’11 another dark sour this one is a cola black with a light beige head. The nose is sour tart pine nuts with a dash of fruits. A zesty light body which is screwing with me as the first flavor hit is chocolatey stout then sour vinager tartness with a bit of red berries & oak. Maybe a touch of smoke as well? Another winner.

Better ’11 based on an IPA with s copper color and a soapy head - on cask. A really interesting nose barrel, must, & hints of vanilla. Lightly ascerbic body with a silky mouthfeel. The taste is bitter nutty and sour. Good stuff. Very nicely balanced and not as mouth puckeringly sour as some of their other sours.
