Bottle from Geers, Oostakker. Pours hazy black with a stable, foamy, dark beige head. Aroma of coffee roast, dark chocolate, burnt toast, earth, roasted hazelnut, chestnut, tobacco. Taste has sweetish dark fruit, milk chocolate, brown bread & nuts, quite bitter core of coffee roast & earth pairing with an almost leathery umami note. Dry, earthy hoppy, very roasted finish, leaning towards espresso & tobacco with creamy chocolate in the back. Medium body, creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Not yet 'Imperial' but provides enough Stout qualities, nice.
