Clear orange blond beer, big creamy white irregular head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty malty, caramel, somewhat floral, soapy, fruity, orange peel. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter start, bit resinous, malty, oxidized, some orange peel. Aftertaste: passion fruit, little sour, bit sugary, some tropical fruits, bitter, some citrus, dry and bitter finish.

0.33 l bottle as 'Porterhouse Red Irish Ale' from 'Craft Bier Bude', best before January 2021. Clear, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity-resiny aroma of caramel, raisins, marmelade, some pine and a touch of tea leaves. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather fruity-resiny taste of caramel, raisins, tea leaves and some marmelade, followed by a short, gently bitter, quite herbal-resiny and a little grassy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Nice Ale, not really classic a Irish Red but somewhere between English and American taste-wise.

Can at home. Clear orange color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma and flavor are malts, lightly hoppy, quite some light tart citrus notes, although after a while that subsides a bit. In the end though, hmm, not great.

Best aardig ondanks dat het een pull off dopje heeft. Romig, hoppig, bitter, beetje floraal. Prima!

Jet-black beer with a deep dark beige head, bit irregular, shards of lace. Chocolate & mocha, vanilla chocolatewaffles, sweet nuts. Taste however, is bitter-ish and quite dry, ashy even, tobacco, hops. Dry coffee, rather than mocha, only the finish sporting a little bit of malts, coffeecookies. Very thick, chewy consistency, despite the dryness in flavour. Mild carbonation. Strange discrepancy between nose and taste. Usually that's not very agreeable, but here it is not disturbing. Generally it is not what one expects from an Irish stout.

Tap at Cervecería L'Artesana, Oviedo, Spain. Pours a beautiful deep amber, with fluffy and very fine whitish foam. Aroma is intensely earthy, underwood. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is moderately sweet, with a little toasted bitterness. Final is average.

Porterhouse Oyster Stout, Fläschchen. - Tiefdunkles Rotbraun. Sehr aromatisches, dabei rundes Stout. Schön.
