Note:- When adding new beers there is a good chance they are from the 'White Label Series' (WLS) so please add in this format with WLS number first then beer name.

Orbit Beers grew from a passion for travel, music and beer. A journey around all the breweries in Scotland in a classic VW campervan named Brian sparked a desire to return to London and begin a new journey. We moved into our double railway arch in Walworth, South London and Orbit Beers was born. Our first beer was brewed on 1st July 2014 at our home here in SE17.

We value our independence. We are independent in the way we think about our beers, timeless styles brewed with an eye for balance and finesse. Our work is inspired by the ethos of our favourite independent record labels, who hold music and art above all else. We are Orbit Beers, we encourage you to listen, think, and drink independent.

Huge malty beer. Quite meaty. Loads of German sausages over a crisp malt. Excellent use of Bamberg malts. Very clean.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear chestnut brown with a thick off-white head. Large bubbles, carbonation seems a bit high, but it settled down to a nice, tight creamy head in the end.Aromas of cooked fruit, something nutty. Taste is sweet, more nutty flavours and mixed peel. Dry finish. Not bad.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours mostly clear, deep brown with a foamy, off-white head. Heavy coffee in the aroma, beneath which sit notes of roasted malts and chocolate. Light to medium sweet flavor with oily coffee, bittersweet baking cocoa, earth, berries and brown bread. Medium bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation; OK condition. Sweet finish with gooey chocolate and heavy coffee. Rich coffee character for sure, but overall itโ€™s not massively drinkable.

Bottle by Cuso, thanks! Quite thin bodied and dry, balanced flavour-wise. Rather neutral hops flavours, grassy and herbal, light roasty maltiness and light cheesy yeastiness. Overall drinkable and rather good.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Cotteridge, Birmingham, consumed at home Saturday 21st November 2015 Pours murky brown with a slim off white head, weirdly I get a bit of mint amongst the smokiness. Loz gets a fresh, organic note. I have to say I am not totally struck on this beer, its ok but no great shakes, just keep getting a mintiness, itโ€™s a little bit cold (my fault), I really wanted to like this but itโ€™s just ok. On tap at Craft Covent Garden. Well itโ€™s a Dunkel weizen. Ester banana aroma . Some chocolate malt. Some lemon. Not much hop. Bit over carbonated. A fairly toned down milk chocolate Dunkel weizen but solid enough.
