330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Herbal-floral hoppy aroma, a perfumed yeasty touch, yellow stone fruit marmelade notes. Taste is grassy hoppy, hints of wet straw and cardboard, some hop bitterness, slightly disguised fruity undertones. Pitiable discrepancy of aroma and taste.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at Mother Kelly’s Bottle Shop. Pours clear yellow-gold, effervescent, with a frothy, pure white foam head. The aroma has some very nice dried wheat notes, touches of Belgian yeast, zesty lemon peel, some rind. Light sweet flavor with sourdough bread, rindy citrus, bitter straw, subtle grain husk. Wonderful balance on the finish, further dry and crispy wheat bread, more zesty and rindy citrus, understated yeast presence, refreshing bitterness, touches of husk and grass. Great stuff overall. A fairly archetypal ’Belgian table beer’. Lovely.

Mild pithy orange before a light semi dry finish. A slightly soapy bitter linger. Not great and I still don’t get what Orbit are about - sorry Mario!
