Orbit Beers grew from a passion for travel, music and beer. A journey around all the breweries in Scotland in a classic VW campervan named Brian sparked a desire to return to London and begin a new journey. We moved into our double railway arch in Walworth, South London and Orbit Beers was born. Our first beer was brewed on 1st July 2014 at our home here in SE17.
We value our independence. We are independent in the way we think about our beers, timeless styles brewed with an eye for balance and finesse. Our work is inspired by the ethos of our favourite independent record labels, who hold music and art above all else. We are Orbit Beers, we encourage you to listen, think, and drink independent.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear pale copper-brown with a small, foamy off-white head. Light sweet flavour with mellow tartness, mild leathery berries, subtle herbal notes, a faint acetic twang. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Pretty clean finish, a little orange peel, more tangy leathery berries, relaxed acidity. Rather drinkable:

5/7/2024. Keg at 27th Festival of Beer and Brewing, Stowmarket. Pours slightly hazy orange gold with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, orange, citrus, wheaty, peppery spice, touch of banana. Good Peel reference for the excellent Peel Centre in town. Well done Wit. Enjoyed this.

Cask, yes cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 23rd June 2024. Deep ruby brown with pale tan foam affording full initial lacing. Rich coffee roast malt aroma. A burnt coffee roastiness dominates the liquid pass, and the finish is of lasting bitter chocolate and fresh ground coffee. Medium bodied with a smooth yet engaging mouthfeel.

On keg at Shilling. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange. White head. Nose - yoghurt, cucumber and mint. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied sour and creamy at the same time. Overall - this is exactly like that really good Liverpool brewery that closed. Well made!

Keg at Flintgate,Weybridge. Aroma of watery vending machine powered cola. Dark amber. Opaque. Too light for cola. Thin creamy off-white head. Sour. Verging on tart. Defo cola... just heap cola sweets or such like. Light. Thin. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Spot on... an own brand /,minimart cola sour.
