Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

This definitely reminds me of beers I drank back in the US in the day pre-craft. Pine, grapefruit, honeyed sweetness, sharp crisp lager.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Hazed up pale yellow gold. Messy, super sticky, lasting white foam. Nose has wheat and milky oats. Pithy citrus. Not too much in between, bar some pulped orange. Taste is sweet and milky, with a pithy, rindy bitterness. Fairly smooth mouthfeel drinks easy at the ABV. Lingering pithy bitterness to finish.

Can. Little Leeds Beer House online shop. Soft haze on a slightly muddy dark gold. Thick off white foam stays the course. Nose has biscuit malt. Floral hop. Nuts and dried fruit. Blurb mentions honey, and I do definitely get that. Taste has a slightly spicy maltiness, with a similarly spicy hop leaf bitterness. Light to medium body with foamy carbonation. Dries out a little. Light bitter finish.
