Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

Can. Little Leeds online shop. Very light haze on a pale yellow gold. Firm and fairly thick, lasting, bright white foam. Looks well. Nose has sour and sweaty armpit. Sweet, fresh grain. Grassy, privet leaf hop. Taste has a bready malt sweetness, with a nicely punchy, grassy, privet leaf bitterness. Plenty of body with foamy, soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Great logger.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Hazed straw gold. Thin and messy, lasting, lacing white foam. Nose has yellow grapefruit. Lemon peel. Some peachy notes. Some mineral. Clean malts. Taste has a soft sweetness, but is mostly pretty dry and pithy, zesty bitter. Light to medium body, with spritzy carbonation. Lingering pithy bitterness to finish. Chugged it.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Lightly hazy light gold. Fairly dense, thin white foam. Nicely leggy. Nose has plenty of pine sap. Pretty floral and herbal. Notes of coriander and basil, oddly. Bready malts in the background. Taste has sappy bitterness. Oily and full on. Smooth mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish.
