About
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Black pour with a beige head. Huge caramel sweetness, chocolate cake, vanilla, roasted malts, coffee wisps. Full body. Nearly cloying sweetness in the finish with some dark red fruits. It’s very tasty but the sweetness gets a bit much pretty quickly.

Cloudy/milky yellow gold with a bubbly white head and a fruit hop aroma. Creamy smooth, a bit funky, fruit hops, maybe a touch of pine and a dry bitter finish.

44cl Blik bij HBBBYB&MBBQ '26. Dank Marco! Zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Koffie met suiker, veel suiker, caramel, meer koffie, gebrande mout, vanille, zoete koffie in de finish. Medium tot volle body. Te zoet om een echt aangenaam bier te zijn.

440ml can from Left Field Beer, Solihull. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, dank, piney. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, rich, grassy, rich, dank, juicy tropical citrus, mango, light pineapple, light dry hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Over medium bodied with average carbonation. Classic Beak!

The aroma is grainy, light stone fruits, mineral, light sherbet citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter and sweet, with a smooth, fresh, herbal, mineral, stone fruits, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

440 ml can, as Beak Chirp IPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of citrus, yellow stonefruits, tropical fruits and pine. Citric and fizzy mouthfeel. Flavour of said fruits, not too sweet, also notes of pine sap / resin, moderate bitterness.
