Bottle@Jens Ratebeer down tasting (11/02/2019) - black pour with a tan head. Dark roasted and sweet malty with some cocoa and caramel, medium to full body, solid resonating dark malty finish.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 9C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L190394 (BBF 02-2029). AROMA: medium roasted aroma. slight dried grapes. low sulphury background note. APPERANCE: very dark brown colour and opaque um slight ruby highlights. medium moussy light brown head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a prominent roasted character (coffee-like), almost burnt. medium-high bitterness with a dry, bitter and roasty finish. PALATE: medium-high body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a baltic porter with an aggressive roastiness on the palate. unbalanced.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21B-NEIPA). Can 33 cl - Batch L19400 (canned on 21-02-2019 - BBF 21-10-2019). AROMA: medium-high hop aroma with notes of tropical fruits and slight fresh-green. medium-low alcoholic notes. background of low sweet malt. APPEARANCE: orange-ish brown color and murky. no head. TASTE: medium hop flavour with a pine and fresh-green character. neutral malt background with medium-low to low sweetness. excessive bitterness. unbalanced. finishes dry and overly bitter. PALATE: medium body with very low carbonation. astringency from harsh bitterness. OVERALL: a NEIPA-like beer with no head retention and unbalanced bitterness.

Draught, taster. Sampled on the 16/03/2019 at Barcelona Beer Festival 2019, (L´Hospitalet, Spain). Cloudy orange colour, peach juice appearance. Almost no head. Aroma is peach, yeast, fresh citrusy hops and grass. Taste is medium juicy, peach and citrusy. Slightly harsh finish. Next one please!

Caña en el Gato que queria mas ibus Valladolid. Color negro intenso con espuma beige que desaparece al poco casi por completo. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de cafe y suave amargo seco torrefacto al final duradero. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensacion alcoholica. No mucha densidad algo seca al final que en algunos momentos llega a parecer algo tosca. Normal.

330ml can, many thanks Taboada for this! Pours clear gold, white topping. Aroma is bright fresh leafy citrus. Taste is crisp, bright citrus, gooseberry, passionfruit whilst remaining quite light and drinkable. Very good.

330ml can, thanks to Taboada for this! Pours golden amber with a faint mist, small off-white head. Aroma is bright orange, marmalade, grapefruit. Taste is quite heavily hopped, big orange citrus, resinous pine, moderately sweet, big malt body, nice bitter edge. Decent DIPA.
