A slightly hazy golden beer with a white head. Aroma of grainy malt, straw, cereals. Taste of wet grainy malt, straw, biscuit, moderate to long bitter finish.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met JoepvW. Het is een troebel roodbruin bier met een beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van sinaasappelschil. De smaak is moutig, sinaasappel en bitter.

Bottle from Melger's, Haarlem. Bourbon upfront with oak, vanilla, roasted malt, alcohol. Flavour is moderate bittersweet. Body is medium, feels a bit thin for the aroma. Long bourbon vanilla finish. Nice bourbon aroma, but thin.

Bottle. Color: Black, dense light brown head. Aroma: Coffee, roasted malt. Taste: Dry, bit creamy, coffee, coffee bean, roasted malt, grainy, malty. Hard to tell without having tasted the original, but I believe that the dry and grainy / malty part of this beer at least partially comes from the Korenwijn infusion. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Ok Baltic Porter.
