Description
Breckenridge Brewery opened its doors in 1990 in the mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. It’s the third-oldest craft brewery in the state. In 1992, our second brewpub in downtown Denver opened. In the summer of 2015 a new production brewery was opened in Littleton. After 26 years, the focus is still on creating well-balanced, approachable, and interesting beers while also creating memorable visitor experiences. In 2016 Breckenridge Brewery became a unit of AB InBev.

(Tap) clear, bright orange amber colour with a small white head; aroma of cake, vanilla, simple flavour, more like a beginner’s amber ale, no finish

$1 can from JR's. Nearly clear pale. Thin white head. Nose of fruit, perhaps pineapple. Taste of pineapple for sure and do I think there is some coconut there? Must be my imagination. Ye, some other fruit in there too. Hard to find the beer in this one. Smooth and rather easy. Decent gose. Liking this one. Does have a hint of salt in it. Not bad but finishes with a slight dull sensation.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Union, NJ. Pours a clear bronze color with a tight khaki head and good retention. Very little lacing. Toasted caramel malts aroma. The taste follows the nose. Semi-sweet, toasted caramel malt flavor. No bitterness. Crisper than most Oktoberfest beers. Smooth and clean. Medium body. Nothing outstanding, but pretty good.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a very thin off-white and tan head that fades very quickly and leave nothing on the top or the sides. Light-bodied; Strong earthy and especially nutty malts with a lot of grain notes at first and then bringing out some caramelised sugar and toffee notes. Aftertaste shows some of the light bready and yeast notes, but the malts are obviously right at the forefront, with some light sweetness from the pitted fruits and caramel, but there is little else, aside from the heavy malts here - no hops to speak of, nor any bitterness. Overall, a pretty standard brown ale, but perhaps even a bit less complex than average, given that until I saw this was an ale from the label, I would have classified it as a Marzen, given I thought it was a lager - that said, this is purely passable, of course, but this is far removed from a DECENT old ale. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Wegman's Grocery in Alexandria, Virginia on 20-October-2021 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 28-October-2021, just a bit more than a week after purchase, a few days before Halloween!

Isotonic? So… this beer has the same salt concentration as blood? Why? If I’m dehydrated enough that that matters, I’m not grabbing a beer. Anyway, pours pale yellow with some blueberry aroma. The flavor is on the sweet side. The blueberries are there with weak malt. It’s bland and watery, another thoroughly lackluster low calorie beer. Stop it. Beer isn’t a diet drink.

Can for a dollar at JR's on Rochy. Smell is permeating typical hop perfume with hints of BO & Diesel. Pour is hazy off pale, like many other typical hazy IPA. Taste is typical IPA fer-sher, its pretty much dead on for a NEIPA. Lupu-gagulous. Strong rude nasty bitter mouth coating bullshit. As with many other IPA, it needs more co2 to make it drinkable. Straight up nasty nellie's birdie. Oh well, in the end its just another stupid IPA, so many of them out there. About 3.5 trillion! Yea, go for it mah-fah.

Pours orange gold with a lingering white head. It smells of resin and citrus. Mild to moderately bitter, to me it has more resin than fruit. Medium bodied. Decent.
