Bottle from HoTM. It likes lightly hazy orangey - copper with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is freshly cut grass, herbal, sweet bready, biscuity malt, digestives, cracker and some florals. The taste is firmly dry, snappy, pleasing bitterness which lingers, grassy, fragrant, floral, summer meadow, herbal, bready, biscuit and cracker with a grassy finale. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fresh, grassy and satisfying. Very nice lagerbier.

Bottle at home picked up from HOTM. This was supposed to be a region tick for Shig, but it didn't arrive in time. A clear deep orange coloured pour with a lasting rocky white head. Aroma is nice rich sun kissed malts, biscuit, leafy hop, light orange zest, Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rich nutty malts, biscuit, hint of toffee, grassy hop, spicy finish, super characterful. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, fine carobnation. Really nice characterful malt forward lager.

330ml bottle from House of the Trembling Madness. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is straw, grass, stale malt. Taste is medium bitter, stale malt, grass. Medium bitter finish. A week over the best before date, this has already gone bad (badly stored, perhaps).

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear honey-gold with a creamy, mostly white head. A bit strange. Has some bread and fresh grains, sun-kissed straw, an almost funky note, maybe citrus peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Bready malts to finish, a nip of apple, more suggestions of funk, toasted grains. Light grassy bitterness. Maybe a touch infected? Interesting.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy, off-white topping. Light sweet flavour with lime an-kissed biscuits, fresh grains, a little dusty pine needle, grass, hay. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, lightly drying, biscuity, softly bitter straw and grass. Mighty drinkable.
