Pumpkin, cinnamon, and allspice on the nose. Hazy amber, medium yellow head. Pumpkin is more prominent than spice, allspice detectable. Finishes abruptly. Light spritzy body, not thin. Subtle and not very memorable, but not without character.

GABF 2012. Pours with a hazy deep brown hued body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are floral, juicy, berry, acidity, mild funk, red wine, vinous, big raspberry, tannic. Flavors are a little thin, but very full of berries, tannin, vinous and jammy. Nice sourness, lively feeling with a nice dryness.

Old school English-style porter. Pours black with good mocha head and lacing. Dark chocolate with nut, some coffee, some booze and caramelized malt. Finishes sour after a moment. Bottle.

Not sure what this is supposed to be a double of but certainly not flavour. Pours blonde with ok head. Initial smell of coriander and citrus peel. Average carbonation. Light palate, but aroma has some sweetened malt. Finishes with light sweetness. Bottle from Finger Lakes Beverage Center.

Bottle from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Clear amber-brown. Tiny dusting of a head. Smells of lovely pumpkin pie: from the pumpkin itself to the crust, to the spices, to the whipped cream. This smells exactly like pumpkin pie. Tastes slightly sweet, rather mellow roasted pumpkin, pie crust, spices - tastes like the pie bubbled on top and started to crisp/burna bit.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear copper color with a thin fizzy off-white head. Poor head retention. Aroma of pumpkin, spice, citrus and a bit of caramel. The taste is earth, pumpkin, muddled spice, a bit of toastiness. Thin bodied, almost watery. Meh.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/23/2013. Pours slightly cloudy orange copper color with a 1-2 finger dense off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of orange zest, grapefruit, pear, floral, caramel, toast, bread, grass, and floral earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of hop and malt notes; with fairly weak strength. Taste of orange zest, grapefruit, pear, apple, caramel, toast, brown bread, floral, pine, grass, and floral earthiness. Fair amount of earthy pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, light fruit, caramel, brown bread, toast, pine, and floral earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice balance of hop and malt flavors with light yeast fruitiness; with a great bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a fairly creamy, crisp, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with no warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very good English IPA style. Nice balance and complexity of hop and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle, $1.90 from Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours a refreshing golden amber with a small head. Smells of lightly sweet hops, some malts, and light fruits. Flavor is lightly flowery hops, some roasted malts, and finishes with a bitter ting. A bit soapy. Not bad, but not one of my favorites.
