Description

Bottle picked up locally forgot where, had this at home Monday 21st October 2024 listening to Steve Lamaqs evening session on 6Music with the Pixies in session. Pours hazy yellow/light orange with a white head. Quite tangy and refreshing but understandably very thin and a bit watery, it's okay.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden with a foamy head. Quite malty, toasted grain, overripe banana, candied malt, slightly metallic, pretzels, dry lemon zest, grassy. Zesty metallic bitterness, malty grainy sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry zesty malty grainy fruity bittersweet finish. It’s a very solid Festbier, quite characteristic and flavourful. Deserves its relatively good rating for sure.
