Malton Brewery brews it’s beer in a characterful Grade 2 Listed building located on the banks of the River Derwent in Malton.
It has a beautiful idyllic setting next to the river, bringing back Malton’s tradition of brewing beer on the banks of the River Derwent, just like they did in the 1800’s.
The brewery currently produces a small amount of beer per week which makes it one of Britain’s smallest commercial breweries, and as such, our beer is in great demand. We have the infrastructure and equipment to increase our production to 2,000 litres per week.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Nov 22. Brought by me. Misty pale golden yellow with small white head. Bog standard trad pale, with a brisk bitterness. Doesn't taste of Yorkshire puddings whatsoever, bit misleading in that respect.

21st November 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share, five guys and loads of beer. Cheers Mat for the 500ml bottle of this: BB 14th February 2022. Clean golden body, wispy white head. Mild bread aroma and flavour, malty rather than hoppy; kind of different but not enough to get excited about.

On cask at Malton Food Festival - Good looking bronze body, solid white top. Malty nose, a bit of a weird taste that I can't place with Yorkshires at all. Gimmicky, and a clever one at that. The revellers were lapping it up. Bang average bitter for me.

Bottle. Craft and Berry, Sheffield. Copper gold. Soft haze. Fine, off white head. Nose has tart berry. Slightly sour malts. Some fruit. Taste is a little sweet, with a firm, fruity bitterness. Light body. Soft carbonation. Light, slightly tart bitterness to finish.
