Draft at Craft Pride, Austin. I asked the bartender if this beer had a ton of hops, my exact words where, " Will this beer slap me in the face with hops?" He replied; "yes"... Well, I was lied to. Deep Amber color with thick lasting head. Aroma is a metric shit ton of caramel malt, light traces of a floral hop. From the color alone I can tell there is to much caramel malt.

The flavor has so much caramel malts that it muddles the floral hop character that really wants to come through in the flavor but it can’t because of the stupid amount of malt. This brewer did NOT tone down the grain bill for this. The sweetness takes over and with the alcohol level makes it hard to drink. If the brewer really scales back the malt bill and adds to the hop profile it will help this greatly. " see above commercial description on this "toned" down grain bill" yet another lie told to me.

In the words of Edgar Allen Poe in the poem " The Raven". I wil drink this "Never more"
