Bottle at the Night of Garbage, picked this up at Tomlinsons Inverness, 20/12/13 up a shit load of stairs ! Clear golden amber with little in the way of a head. Nose is paper and to be fucking specific a telephone directory that’s sat on the back porch for a week or two, hay, enamel, dull caramel. Taste comprises paper, very faint citrus, grass, pretty muted all round. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp closure. This was drinkable, no defects per say, jsut a complete lack of any flavour ... dull dull dull !

Bottle at the Night of Garbage, thanks to Colin? It pours pale golden-amber with a tiny bubbly head. The nose is pretty limited.....sweetish, toasty, sugar paper and light popcorn. The taste is oily, sticky, sweet, grain, dull toast, toffee, and cereal. Lightish body, low carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Poor condition. Really pretty dull and so-so

Bottle on the train from Inverness to Plockton, from Tomlinsons of the Ness 19/10/13. Clear chestnut brown with a moderate light tan covering. Nose is malt forward, fruit tang, mildew, apple akin. Taste is musty, rotten apple notes, bready malt, sprucey, herbal tang. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry climax with bitter herbal notes. Bit of a mess!

Bright clear amber beer, tidy off white head. Palate is light and crisp. Clean malt with a trace of unsweet toffee. Light tangy fruits in the mid. Very slight bitterness in the semi dry finish. A passable beer but for an IPA - lame and almost hop free!
