Bottle picked up from Faust Brewery Webshop, Miltenberg, Bayern and consumed at home Tuesday 13th April 2021 updating my CV. We had a very nice Asparagus and Anchovy Pasta with Fennel Seed Pangrattato from the latest Olive magazine. *Please note that the label is now yellow and any reference to Isotonic is a very small mention of the word on the rear of the label. Pours hazy gold with a foamy white head, not as hazy as the Paulaner N/A Weiße that I had before and which has looked the most convincing of the three. The usual wheaty characteristics are more than a little subtle here, there is not a great deal of banana and clove at all, but it's at least quite distinct from the Erdinger N/A Weisse and the aforementioned Paulaner, which it just loses out to in this unofficial taste test. There is a pleasant citrus flavour in this which makes up a little for the deficiencies elsewhere.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of banana and dried grass. Flavour of bubblegum and red apple. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. A clean, flavoursome beer.

Bottle picked up from Brauhaus Faust webshop, Miltenberg and consumed at home Easter Monday 5th April 2021 watching Ballon on Netflix. We had Greek Village Sausage (starter) and Pastitsio. Pours mid/dark reddy brown, pretty good clarity, though on reflection there is a little haze, a light beige head atop. Sherry soaked dried fruit on the nose, raisins, dates, orange peel, malty also. A little bit boozy but doesn't detract in any way, molasses, the aforementioned dried fruits are back and in the mouth this time, warming, big maltiness. This is a good, well executed Barley Wine.

Bottle picked up from Brauhaus Faust webshop, Miltenberg and consumed at home Easter Monday 5th April 2021 listening to Dry Cleaning - New Long Leg. We're cooking Greek Village Sausage (starter) and Pastitsio. Pours first amber with a white head, very soft mouthfeel, nice citrus, a little resinous touch, dry finish, taste is a nod towards a US style DIPA, malty (crystal?). A very decent stab at an Imperial IPA, nicely bitter throughout

Bottle picked up from Brauhaus Faust webshop, Miltenberg and consumed at home Easter Monday 5th April 2021 listening to I'll from Mathias Modica presents Kraut Jazz Futurism Vol 2 by Kryptox about to start cooking Greek Village Sausage (starter) and Pastitsio. Pours chestnut brown, good clarity, nice bitterness, malty with swathes of caramel, a little nutty. Not usually a style that I get excited about but this is really nice.

Bottle picked up from Faust brewery webshop, Miltenberg. Consumed at home Easter Sunday 4th April 2021 outside after a housework blitz and some gardening (planting Gooseberries, Rhubard, Heidelberries), about to start cooking 'stuffed aubergine rolls with melting mozzarella'. We're listening to Jane Weaver - Flock. Pours chestnut, maybe a little lighter in colour, pretty good clarity, the head swiftly departed. Some sweetness, however it drinks surprisingly easy for the abv, a little chewy dark toffee, soft moutheel, molasses. Like this.

Bottle picked up directly from the Faust brewery webshop, Miltenberg. Consumed at home Easter Sunday 4th April 2021 sat outside after a housework blitz and some gardening (planting Gooseberries, Rhubard, Heidelberries), about to start cooking 'stuffed aubergine rolls with melting mozzarella'. We're listening to Feist - Pleasure. I tried to link the beer with the music, there is a name similarity. Pours hazy amber with a big frothy white head. Really nice soft moutheel, banana is on form again but just a little more restrained this time. It's totally toffee banana swirls (thats a kids sweet, from when I was a kid). Much like the Hefe Weisse this is a great wheat beer. Love this.

Wow so much banana, soft moutheel, vanilla, not so much clove. Lovely wheat beer, this is a cracker.
