Hazy gold with a fleeting, frothy head. Big lemon aroma that’s a touch herbal underneath. Taste is sweet but not unpleasantly so. Refreshing and very juicy. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Good for the style.

Beer from an online shop, drunk while my Congress is trying an ex president for inciting insurrection. Yep that's how 2021 started folks. Hazy gold, very nice creamy head. Nose is pretty old style West Coast with a nice touch of medium-dark caramel. Very pine-resiny on the tongue, big lasting AIPA bitterness. Some hints that remind me of Weizenbock, and maybe not wrong as I see Weizen in the ingredients. Pretty interesting imperial!

Bottle from HoTM. It pours lightly hazy deep orangey gold with a frothy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, honeyed cereal, grainy, cakey, ripe banana, warming spice, clove rock and candy cane. The taste is sweet upfront, then bready, cereal, ripe banana, green banana skin, grainy, twist of citrus, cakey malts, clove rock, some spice with a grainy, spicy finish. Medium body and low to moderate carbonation. Sits a bit heavy with that sweetness. An average sort of hefe.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy orange. Off white head. Nose - slightly astringent malt and just a hint of the banana and spice. Taste - banana this time, lightly burnt toast. Palate - light to medium bodied. Dry, lightly astringent finish. Overall - so so.

0,5 l swing top bottle from a local Getränke Hoffmann. Hazy red golden with a more than two finger foamy head. More grainy than grassy smell. Taste starts grainy, caramel, some diacetyl with a straw bitterness. Present hop. Okay.

Dark brown with a tall, foamy head that proves fleeting. Aroma of toffee, prunes, raisins. Taste is sweet with some mild tartness. Full-bodied, mild carbonation, a touch oily. Strong stuff with a warm finish and a boozy feel that never lets up. A pleasant sipper though.
