Süßer und wässriger Malzantrunk. Das etwas lasche Malz steht hier im Vordergrund und wird im Mittelteil zwar stärker, trotzdem wirkt der wässrige Charackter mit. Dieser wird nur nach und abgeschüttelt, leicht hopfig geht es in den nun würzigen Abgang der wiederum stärker als der Mittelteil, aber für ein Doppelbock doch zu mild ist. 50 cL bottle. Pours amber brown/red with a little red hue, little head. Grainy to caramel and bread malty flavour. Finish is malty, slight sweet.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy yellow with a light white head. Slight fruity nose, grassy/hay. Hay sweet flavour into a dry finish. Nice6-3-6-3-13=3.1

Bügelverschlußflasche: Hazy, amber coloured with some red sparks, creamy and lacing off-white head; bananas, citrus-fruit and caramel in the nose; mild sweetish, slightly sourish flavour; traces of bitterness in the mild malty-citrusy finish. Nothing unpleasant detectable in this mild, soft Dunkelweizen.....

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, slightly hazy with a small, but "rocky" dirty white head; sweetish fruity nose (bananas and cloves) with a tart and "oaky" touch; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, a bit sourish, too; a light acidity is detectable in the sweetish-fruity finish, followed by an almost bitter aftertaste. Unspectacular, but rather well crafted.........
