Bottle. Brownish black with a firm cream head, OK lacing. Aroma is somewhat missing, some sugar. Texture is velvety, flavour is light sweet malt, missing the toast. All the components are there, just not the Schwarz.

Medium to good, fine yellowish head over veiled straw-yellow beer. Very fresh smelling, malty nose, tad greenmalt (cucumber), grassy (suggesting acidity), herbal; faintly yeasty - and inviting. Again an unmistakable acidity, malty sweetness with a sweetless liquorice hint; finish reverts to grassy & herbal. CO² bends towards acidity as well, overall balance is pretty convincing. In the very finish, retronasal, a dash of bittering hops. Very spritzy; quite light body. There is acidity here, but it is as with German sourdoughbread: you hate it or you love it.

Thanks to Kölschtrinker for that one. Bottle looks very simple. Beer in the glass very zippy, huge head. Starts mild, modest malty-yeasty, mild dry background. Finish more and more moldy, a bit unbalanced. Okay.

Didn’t know it was this rare/new, would’ve likely skipped it, but as a friend bought it at the Marburg tegut, I got to rate it (thanks Plavec!). Caramelly brownish amber with a thick white head, Dry, sweetish dogfood maltiness in the aroma. Crappy yeasty malty taste. Not good, though I do support this whole thing behind the brewery and the concept.
