Bottle from Wales Ales. Pours a mahogany colour with small off white top. Aroma of malt, brown bread, berries, some spices. Taste contains a nice malt profile with a fruity tang but is surprisingly hoppy with leafy bitterness and spice. Its very good.

Shared third of a pint on 28th September 2023; 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church. As the name suggests, this is a golden beer which has a white head. It poured clean and clear, with a citrusy front to the nose and taste, some malt action for balance.

Cask at Pigs Ear 2019 - London. Pours clear, toasted gold with a small, foamy white head. So so, some bitter grass, leaves, English yeast, dirt. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Moderately bitter in the finish. Eh.
