Description
We started as a 2 man outfit in 2009 as a ‘cuckoo’ brewery, borrowing someone else’s kit (Whittingtons) to make our beers and selling across South Wales and the Marches to anyone we could convert. By 2013, we’d raised enough cash to move to our own brewery in Raglan, Monmouthshire, which we’ve called home ever since!

Here at the Untapped Brewing Company, we make a wide range of great, award winning real ales to suit every taste. From the light and hoppy to the rich and intense, every beer lover will find something here to send them home happy!

On tap @ Brecon Tap. Orange/golden coloured. Aroma reminds me of a Pale Ale. Fruity, malty, slightly hoppy. Taste follows aroma. Low carbonation. Smooth. Easy drinking for hot summer days. Alright.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 16/2/2017. Deep, vivid, copper red in colour, with a small, off-white, head. Aroma of citrus hops, red berries and rich tea biscuits. Flavour had a touch of caramel sweetness, a firm malt base, plenty more red fruits and a touch of orange peel, before a lingering, dryish finish. A enjoyable pint.

Bottle shared in London - so much thanks to Chria for this great. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white head. The nose has some lime peel, pale bread. Light sweet flavour with rather tasty tangy citrus, more lemon, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more novel, enjoyable citrusy tang, light bitter hay, rind. Pretty decent.

Dark yellow colour with no head. Aroma and flavour have a fair bit of apple pips. Rather flat and lifeless.
