On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Black beer big tan head. Not sure what I expected. It’s fine. Some vanilla creamy chocolate on the aroma. Some chocolate liqueur in the kouth and even a bit of bite on the finish. It is sweet chocolate but not boozy. Some heat on the finish good sweet chocolate.

On tap at Arends Nest Amsterdam. Black beer lasting beige head. Strong chocolate aroma. Slightly fruitier in the mouth more juicy. It’s actually a very drinkable dark beer. Nothing showy but it works well together. But of lactose maybe. OK.

Draft at Beer Temple. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, nuts coming out with caramel, light coffee and toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Caña en alt strasse Gijón el 05-09-2015. Color amarillento turbio con espuma blanca. (r94). Aromas y sabores maltosos bastante dulces afrutados tropicales. Cuerpo intenso espumoso y denso. Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.

Draft sample @ Oersoep Bierfest 2015, Nijmegen. Fin orangé, ol léger beige. Arôem est fruité, léger épicé avec un bouquet sureau dominant et frais le tout est franchement agréable. Palais est finement épicé avec un profil sureau adéquat qui offre un côté fleuri/herbacé presque poivré. Le profil général de la bière met à profit cet usage et continue sur un malté moyen. Houblon porte une légère amertume citronnée en fin de bouche. L’aspect de la bière n’en demeure pas moins dominer par la fleur de sureau.
