On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden amber with a nice lacy head. Nose - light biscuit malt. Taste - dry biscuits, some oranges creeping in. Palate - light bodied with a creamy and kinda crunchy texture through the middle section and a long dry finish. Overall - solid if a bit unexciting.

On cask at the Guildford Arms. The morning after the tap takeover. Presumably named after a new year resolution to continue to drink beer? Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - lemon pith and something herby that might be lavender or rosemary. Taste - bitter lemon pith. Dry grassiness with malt holding it together at the back. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - just within the limits of bitterness that I can deal.

Cask @ Mallinsons Corner, Huddersfield. Gold with a thick frothy head. Strong tasting but hoppy enough to have character.

Fra cask/gravity på Plymouth CAMRA Beer and Cider Festival 24 Sep 16. Svart. 0 skum. God aroma av melkesjokolade. Smaken det samme. Innslag av krydder etter hvert - med en antydning til fjøs i avslutningen.
